DYNAMIC DANCES Graded Concert Studies

Allen Vizzutti studied at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York where he was the only wind player ever to be awarded the School's Artist's Diploma in its 75 year history. Since then, he has forged a distinguished international career as a solo trumpeter and is equally at home in the classical, jazz and modern idioms, often performing his own compositions. Vizzutti is committed to musical education and as Artist in Residence, he has taught at no less than six universities and colleges across North America. In his introduction to "Dynamic Dances", Allen Vizzutti writes of the fun he had in conceiving and composing them and he feels that they are fun to play. "I took great care to compose pieces that were challenging, yet idiomatic", he says.
