BLUES FOR TWO

The title of this volume of music is taken from the first piece. The subtitle 'Cameos' comes from the fact that each piece has a quality which can be seen as reflecting a personality, or reflects the mood which pertains, or could pertain, to a particular event or state of mind.
The pieces were composed over a number of years, and mostly relate to specific people and events, as described in more details following the music. Although most of them were originally written for different instruments, I feel that they all work very well (possibly even best) as they appear here.
The pieces can be played in any order or combination, or just as individual pieces. They should be performed largely with a feel for Jazz and Latin style.
The pieces vary in difficulty, falling roughly in the range from Grade 4 to Grade 7.
Use of the sustaining pedal in the piano part is left to the performer's discretion.
