Searching the Website

How do I search the website effectively?
With well in excess of 57,000 publications on this website it’s not always easy to find what you’re looking for! There are various ways to search:
I know exactly what I want - Use the main search box below the top menu bar. It’s predictive and will search as you type, using composer, title, contents and publisher reference information.
I want to browse a section - Click on the Sheet Music button in the top menu bar to choose a main instrumental category. You can then narrow your options down to more specific sections if you wish. If you’re looking for music for a specific instrumentation and can’t narrow down the options effectively enough, please Contact us with your specific criteria and we will put together a list for you.
I need music for an exam - Click on the Exam Music button in the top menu bar, select the exam board, then select your instrument and grade. You can narrow it down even further to List A, List B etc if you wish.
Help, I’m really not sure what I need! - That’s exactly why we’re here! If you’re not entirely sure what you need to buy, then please don’t hesitate to Contact us and we can help you identify the right editions.

I know what I want, but can’t find it on the website. Can you help?
Yes! We will do our very best to track it down for you, using our considerable knowledge and vast network of contacts. Please Contact us, providing as much detail as you can (such as source of information, instrumentation, publisher etc) in order to help us identify it.

I heard a recording of a piece of music, does that mean it’s available in print?
Not necessarily. Quite often we are able to track down a piece that has been recorded. However, in many cases the performer has used an unpublished manuscript or something that is only available to hire. If it is available we will do our very best to find it for you.

Pricing & VAT

How do you set your prices?
We always try to keep to the publisher’s recommended price whenever possible. The exception to this is when ordering from overseas publishers where shipping charges are high and need to be factored in. Occasionally, a publisher will only give a token trade discount – we have to apply a small mark-up in these cases in order to avoid financial loss.

Do you charge VAT (Value Added Tax)?
The VAT rate on printed music in the UK remains at 0%. You do not have to pay VAT or any other tax on any sheet music or books purchased from June Emerson Wind Music. VAT on other items is already included in the price, depending on the item and your location.

Digital Download Editions

How do I purchase a Digital download?
If a Digital edition is available of the piece you're looking for, you will see this option clearly indicated. On the main item details page, click the Digital option to select and then add it to your Cart.
Once you have successfully purchased the Digital edition(s) you will receive the link(s) by email. You will also be able to access these links through the My Downloads tab in your online account.

What format is the Digital download?
Digital editions are provided as PDF files. You can download them to view/use within an appropriate PDF viewing app, or you can print them off.
