CAHIER D'ETRETAT

Cahier d’Etretat is the diary of an imaginary journey to an enchanted place that still lingers in my imagination, painted by Gustave Courbet and Claude Monet.
The work consists of nine preludes divided into three groups of three pieces each, in which a B-flat and an A clarinet alternate with their different timbres and their inherent affinities. The poetry of the place is recreated without seeking an unnecessary literal description, but by continuously transforming the place into a symbol and the symbol into a musical gesture. This is why the musical line is sometimes stormy, sometimes like a ritual, then again phantasmagoric, dramatic, joyful or sombre.
In this way, even those who have never visited this place can recreate their own Etretat in their memories.

For Royal Mail Special Delivery, Airmail (Signed For) and Courier shipments, a signature may be required upon delivery to your address.
