The CD recording offers rehearsal (piano) and final orchestral versions of the music, and the recorded tempi work well. The music is easy to read and the page turns fall on rests (although there's still very little time to turn them). There are two misprints in the descending sequence at bars 41, 43. Editing is minimal, so there are few additional dynamics, articulation marks or ornamentation, but that leaves performers free to interpret the music for themselves.

It's a lovely concerto but requires rapid articulation and clarity of tone. The rapid finger work would be challenging for less experienced players, but it's an enjoyable work to add to lists of standard repertoire! A good audience pleaser.
