CORVALUES

This selection of studies is intended for horn players at intermediate to more advanced levels and each has been chosen for its usefulness in providing material which will benefit performers in a wide range of areas both technical and musical.
Some, such as those by Kopprasch and Maxime-Alphonse, are well known and have a proven track record, while others have been hidden away and are making an appearance in print for the first time in over a hundred years. All have been edited for modern use. In particular the studies based on Bach’s Cello Suites have been completely revised in line with surviving 18th Century manuscripts.
Each is provided with a helpful description of the challenges to be encountered and suggestions for mastering them. Short composer biographies place them all in their historical and musical context.
While their fundamental purpose is to help aspiring horn players to improve, a criterion for inclusion was that they should all be good music: nothing dully repetitive has been allowed, so enjoy playing them and become a better horn player at the same time!

For Royal Mail Special Delivery, Airmail (Signed For) and Courier shipments, a signature may be required upon delivery to your address.
