DAZZLING DUOS Grade 2

Karen Gourlay specialized in flute and guitar at Leeds College of Music and her study of jazz and popular music there influenced her composition, a subject she studied further with Philip Wilby at the University of Leeds. Her work has been performed widely in the UK and in Australia and the USA while her skills as a teacher have led her to the headship of Junior Leeds Conservatoire.

'Dazzling Duos Grade 2 Flute' is a collection of ten "... attractive and melodious compositions in varying styles that would make a welcome addition to any teacher's resources." They offer students early experience of ensemble playing, aural training and the chance to lead on the top line.
