Sally Adams is a proven flute and recorder teacher, in school and privately, and a widely published composer and arranger of music for those instruments. She has performed in various ensembles and has a particular interest in improvisation, pop and world music. Nigel Morley has performed as both conductor and pianist in most of the countries of Europe. He has appeared at the Sir Henry Wood Promenade Concerts in London and appeared live on BBC Television and BBC Radio Three.

These two accomplished musicians have combined their talents to arrange and edit this widely varied selection of seventeen pieces drawn from the music of more than four centuries. From a flirtatious dance published by Michael Praetorious as part of 'Terpsichore' in 1612 to the theme to a television series by Howard Goodall which ran from 1990 to 2020, these pieces cover an extraordinarily wide range of musical genres, truly offering 'something for everyone'.
