An unusual flute recital piece by one of the leading Vietnamese composers (chairman, composition department, Hanoi Conservatory); published for the first time. Four contrasting movements based on the sounds of Vietnamese folk music with contemporary harmonies.
Includes alternate oboe part instead of flute. Optional piccolo. 2 percussionists play tam-tam (including improvised cadenza), tom-toms, cowbell and bass drum.
