GOETHE LIEDER (bass clef)

Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel wrote over 460 works, mostly for solo piano and voice (lieder). She set over 34 songs to poems by Goethe, who was her favorite poet. Her songs are very expressive and are in a similar style as Schubert.

The Goethe Lieder is a collection of four songs (bass clef) and is just right for a young performer at the intermediate level, however even a mature artist will enjoy the beautiful music of this talented composer.
