JAZZ ALBUM + CD

Jeffrey Wilson has developed a reputation as a composer, performer and teacher, both in the UK and abroad. His teaching posts include Jazz Improvisation at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall and Coordinator and Professor of Composition at Junior Guildhall. He has adjudicated contests throughout Europe and beyond and been an examiner for both the Guildhall and Trinity College London.
His Jazz Album consists of six original pieces composed for a variety of solo wind instruments and piano, in jazz styles described by their titles. Each piece has chord symbols printed above the stave which provides a firm basis for improvisation and solo parts are supplied, in one loose booklet, for instruments in Bb, Eb and C (treble & bass clef). The first 13 tracks of the CD consist of a demonstration of the accompanied melody and then the full accompaniment only, for each tune. The remaining 6 tracks have the keyboard and bass parts recorded on different channels so that it is possible
