LYRIC PIECES Selections (score & parts)

Edvard Grieg (1843-1907) was the leading Norwegian composer of the Romantic era. His use and development of Norwegian folk music in his own compositions brought the music of Norway to international awareness. His Lyric Pieces are a collection of 66 short pieces for piano solo. We are pleased to share this transcription by Allison King of nine of the pieces for clarinet quartet.

There are no extremes of range or technical challenge for any of the players, making the volume quite accessible. As individual pieces or a set, they would make an excellent choice for contest or recital purposes
