MUSIC FOR BRASS ENSEMBLE (playing score)

Arranged for 4-8 part Trombone Choir (Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Tuba) and Timpani
The arrangement of Handel's choral settings for brass ensemble is common practice. As a supplement to and expansion of the repertoire, suitable movements from the Fireworks Music, Water Music, Jephta and the Keyboard Suites have been selected in the present edition and adapted for brass instruments. These short movements are particularly suitable for trumpets and trombones and can be combined into suites.
The experienced brass-choir director and horn composer Rolf Schweizer supervised the selection and supplemented the edition with notes on interpretation (German text).
