SAXOPHONE SKETCHES Volume 2

''Saxophone Sketches'' were originally written with a thought to enrich the saxophone repertoire. Individual sketches can be used both as small display pieces, as well as pedagogical material which gradually and as comprehensively as possible introduces the student who can already basically play the instrument to further technical and interpretative problems. The sketches are written for saxophone with piano accompaniment, which on the one hand gives the saxophonist greater satisfaction, and on the other prepares for group music-making, which is the proper purpose of the instrument. In order to maintain the same performance challenges for saxophones in Bb and Eb, the publication contains one solo part and two piano accompaniments in the correct transposition for each saxophone.
