SIX SWEETS (score & parts)

Lots of opportunity to display that jazzy side to your playing ! This is an excellent piece of contemporary music for a concert. Watch a performance by ‘La Merle Noir’ on YouTube. It can be performed with 6 C flutes or with 5 flutes and alto flute. Six Sweets [2007] was composed as a tribute to Brian Setzer and the 1996 album 'Guitar Slinger'. It is heavily influenced by the Blues master and intended to be played in a jazzy style. Marin Rabadan was born in 1978 in Split, Croatia. He is a trombone player with a Master's degree from Zagreb University of Music and is a member of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. CONTENTS: Score & Parts.
