An inventive Christmas suite, comprising four original carols for upper voices (SSA) and clarinet. Ranging from intensely soulful to light and jazzy, the musical style is fresh and engaging. Two timeless medieval texts sit alongside original words by Emma Johnson, saluting the Christmas story. The carols combine clarinet and high voices in a unique way to create an atmosphere of celebration. They are designed to be performed as a seasonal suite or separately.
