Spectre simulates the unseen and undescribable supernatural matter and environment such as spirit, ghost, shadow and spirituality, which reconstructs for a bassoon solo. Simultaneously, it acts like communication with either unseen matter or just self-talk, which remains unknown or insanity to outsiders.
The musical elements of Spectre are directly inspired by electronic musical elements and spectral sound with various electrical effects such as distortion, saturation, sequencing, and randomisation. The piece has developed into four continuous parts by focusing on the re-imagination of haunted atmospheres and phantoms' characteristics by using a variety of instrument techniques.
