TEN TOP POPS for Flute

After studying piano and clarinet at Leeds College of Music, Heather Hammond went on to postgraduate studies at Bretton Hall College, Wakefield and York University. She now divides her time between teaching and composing and believes that it is important for young children to have fun in music and experience modern styles alongside more traditional forms. She has arranged these ten pop classics for the beginner and early grade flautist so students at that level can enjoy these fundamentals of the pop repertoire.
