THE JOY OF BREATHING Volume 1

A workbook on breathing, designed to help you find freedom through efficient use of the body.

36 pages.
English Edition
Difficulty: intermediate to advanced

"I have just discovered Gaspar Hoyos' book, "The Joy of Breathing," which focuses on breathing and support, and I must say it is a true gem for us flute players.
It is very easy to reference and filled with simple yet truly effective exercises that help us feel how our body responds according to the dynamics and register we wish to produce.
What I particularly appreciated is the clarity with which everything is explained: one feels guided step by step. And for those who want to delve even deeper, there is even a second volume with additional exercises.
Honestly, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to master their breathing and enhance their playing."
- Michel Bellavance, Flute Professor at the Geneva Conservatory (Haute École de Musique) in Switzerland
