After graduating from Trinity College of Music, Pam Wedgwood played the French Horn in several London based orchestras and for West End shows. Marriage and family responsibilities led her into peripatetic teaching in Surrey where she began composing for her pupils and in 1988 her first publication by Faber appeared with the title "Jazzin' About". She now has over two hundred titles to her name and, by branching out into leading workshops at home and abroad, inspires teachers around the World.
This collection of seventeen pieces includes three duets and is dominated by Pam Wedgwood's bright, cheerful and varied compositions. There are classical and traditional favourites too, all intended to give students a break between Grades 1 and 2 and to maintain their interest and enjoyment.

  • 1. Traditional - Banana Boat Song
  • 2. Wedgwood - Golden Eye
  • 3. Elgar - Land of Hope and Glory
  • 4. Verdi - La donna e mobile
