VOLIERE II

Voliere II is one of my earliest works of contemporary classical music. I wrote it at the beginning of my second year of composition studies (2015) and revised it towards the end of the third year (2017). The pre-composition material consisted of recordings of birdsong, which I translated loosely into the sounds of clarinet, cello and double bass (incl. the use of trills in the clarinet and delicate taps with the hand on the strings of the cello and double bass, resembling the sound of beating wings). In order to obtain a texture reminiscent of the voices of birds overlapping at different times, I decided to introduce controlled aleatory technique in several places.

Delivery Details

For Royal Mail Special Delivery, Airmail (Signed For) and Courier shipments, a signature may be required upon delivery to your address. You are responsible for your order once the package arrives at the supplied delivery address. We cannot be held responsible if the package(s) goes missing once delivered. If any goods are received faulty or damaged on receipt, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving them (via email or telephone) quoting your order reference. We cannot be held responsible for goods that do not arrive with the customer due to errors made by the customer when entering their address details.
