1.City Centre 3.00 The opening Fanfare leads to a snipet of the Westminster Chimes which can be heard in ''The Bridges (The Shopping Centre) followed by music which creates the activity of the centre. 2.The Estuary 1.45 At one time a hub of industry and activity, now takes on a more relaxed leisurely activity, incorporating a feature of the folk song ''Bobby Shaftoe'', before diminishing into a gentle sea. 3.St. Mary''s Gate 3.00 This is an elegy which at one time had been in memory of a young man who died of leukemia. The movement has been changed and now represents the spiritual side of the city. 4.Castle Street (Waggle Dance) 2.15 Portrays the Headquarters of Vaux Sampson with the idea of illustrating a product named Waggle. Waggle Dance is the dance done as the bees arrive in the hive, and the music tries to give the impression of activity in the hive. This movement brings the work to an exciting climax.
