Peter Lawrance studied the French Horn at the Royal Academy of Music and went on to Liverpool and Reading Universities for further instrumental study and composition. He has played the horn in various orchestras throughout the UK while pursuing a teaching career in the Midlands and Manchester where he was head of an Instrumental Teaching Service. His work as a composer and arranger includes the production of educational material for publication such as 'Winner Galore', with which he has been helped by the freelance clarinettist and teacher Mark Tromans.
This selection of 65 well known classical themes, folksongs, pop hits and television themes has something for all tastes in simple arrangements to appeal to early grade clarinettists. Piano accompaniments to 25 of the tunes in this book are published separately under the reference BW0314PA.
