Piece in Eb minor by J.E. Barat is currently on the ABRSM performance diploma repertoire however unlike the composers other work "Andante et Allegro" which was also written for the annual contest at the Paris Conservatory has only had limited exposure. I have only found one recording of the work performed by Kyle Remnant (trombone) and Amy Robertson (piano) on the album First Impressions. Like many trombone works written for the annual contest at the Paris Conservatory it comprises two differing sections, a lyrical and a technical. I would recommend this piece as it is not too difficult and would make a change from the usual trombone repertoire
