FOUR SCOTTISH DANCES (score & parts)

Sir Malcolm Arnold's entertaining Four Scottish Dances were commissioned by the BBC Light Music Festival in 1957 and were first performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra in that year. The dances are great fun and much loved by professional, amateur and youth orchestras alike. For the first time chamber musicians can now enjoy playing them in this super arrangement for Wind Quintet. We hope you agree that it is a great addition to the repertoire, and a suitable companion piece to Arnold’s Three Shanties which must surely be in the repertoire of all Wind Quintets!
