LOW REGISTER & FLEXIBILITY EXERCISES

Low Register & Flexibility Exercises for the Horn gives one a small glimpse into the teaching concepts and strategies of renowned musician and horn professor, Kazimierz Machala. This book uses a systematic series of lip slur studies; a standard and fundamental part of horn pedagogy. Each exercise gives the player something new to work on and continues to progress in difficulty whilst using the techniques from earlier exercises. Simple, yet effective, Machala's knowledge of the instrument and tried and true teaching methods make this excerise book a must-have for every horn player's library.
