Peter Lawrance studied the French Horn at the Royal Academy of Music and went on to Liverpool and Reading Universities for further instrumental study and composition. He has played the horn in various orchestras throughout the UK while pursuing a teaching career in the Midlands and Manchester where he was head of an Instrumental Teaching Service. His work as a composer and arranger includes the production of educational material for publication such as 'Win! Win!', one of the more recent publications of his arrangements for clarinet (and other instruments).

It is a collection of forty six popular melodies gathered from a wide variety of genres which include Classical, Christmas favourites, Film & TV, Pop, Swing and Jazz - something for everyone in simple unaccompanied arrangements to appeal to early grade clarinettists of any age. A book of straightforward looking piano accompaniments is available separately (ref: BW0335PA)
