The delivery took a while, falling as it did on the Christmas period + multiple postal strikes: no fault of yours at all. The music was well worth waiting for - Kalmen Opperman's exercises appear simple and straightforward but are infused with wisdom. I am a relatively new player - having begun to learn clarinet at the age of 66 ... but find much to appreciate in these exercises, and am noticing the improvement in my tonguing, and fingering technique and sound as a result. The exercises, perhaps like all exercises, require patience and staying power, but really do deliver better playing and musicality.
