A great source of ideas for warming up and making scale and finger practise interesting. Lovely to have the photos of Taffanel and Gaubert to watch over you.

One of the essential exercise books for the flute. However, consider Jasmine Choi's expanded book of these exercises (Presser) with practice strategies and extended ranges as an alternative.
