This is a nice flute part to join with another flute player with strings accompanyment. Technically it is not too difficult but I find that I need to do some significant double tonguing practice in order to get this up to the pace intended by Telemann.... not that this is essential, but would be nice.

I bought both the flauto dolce and traverso parts because of being asked to play this double flute concerto with some string players. It’s a lovely piece (if you like baroque) and interesting because the dolce flauto ( treble recorder ) is rarely scored with its more modern traverso version. I have enjoyed practising the opening slow movement on the treble but will probably play the rest on my Altus silver flute. We get together in February, an event I’m really looking forward to.

This is an excellent tutor for experienced clarinet players wishing to tackle the bass clarinet .
It starts with important basics of breathing and embourchure moving swiftly through harmonics and advanced techniques.
There are plenty of exercises and examples from the orchestral repertoire.

This is a real virtuoso recital piece. It is also a very good study in technique if taken in sensible sound-bites. It's a joy to play on the standard Bb clarinet as well as being a welcome and much-needed addition to Eb repertoire .
There is an excellent recording by the composer on the CD La Revoltosa issued by the Clarinet Classics label.

My clarinet quartet love this piece. Players around grade 5 and upwards will make it sound sumptuous. Lovely Spanish rhythms and minor harmonies make it sound more difficult than it is.

This is a very nice piece which presents a good level of challenge to accomplished amateur players. All players get their moment in the sun, and in that sense follows in the tradition of Brahms. Just occasionally it seems to outstay its welcome, but only rarely.

The print quality is good and page turns appear manageable and well judged.

Definitely worth the money.
